Review of a memorable week in Levi
>> Thursday, April 16, 2015
It's a few days now since we returned home to Scotland from Levi, and we've had time to reflect on what was a truly fantastic holiday in a truly magical location - Levi in Finnish Lapland.
Beautiful snow conditions, almost deserted slopes, an extensive variety of pistes to suit all skiers, but especially families who will appreciate the wide, easy slopes of the South Pistes and a lovely atmosphere in the town itself all combine to ensure that Levi is a place that will live long in the mind. I've skied in a variety of places across the Alps, and Levi compares very favourably with any of them - indeed, I would say it's my favourite place of all!
But it's more than just that. Levi gives you some unique opportunities to enjoy experiences such as husky and reindeer safaris, snowmobile riding, ice fishing on frozen lakes and the chance to witness the incredible Northern Lights at night. Levi and Lapland really does have it all!
